Aguas Calientes Hot Springs

These are situated 31 km east of Entre Lagos and 80 km east of Osorno, 360m above sea level inside Puyehue National Park.

It is a thermal baths complex, located on the edge of the river Chanleufú which is open to the public all year round. There are 2 pools and 16 individual baths, with water that springs up from the ground at a temperature of 75º C and cools to 35 o 37º C. You can also enjoy mud or steam baths and naturals pools.

This water is recommended for rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgias, sciatica, illnesses related to gynecological, respiratory or nervous problems. It is not suitable for people suffering from Rheumatic Fever, TB or pregnant women.

The complex consists of a hotel, barbeque areas, 26 cabins, 2 campsites and an Environmental Information Centre which provides information on the flora and fauna typical of the area.

Visitors can undertake a range of activities such as; fishing, water sports, skiing, hiking and picnics.

Access to the baths is via Ruta Internacional 215 which is a tarmac road, as far as kilometre 64, which is where you turn off to enter the Puyehue National Park.
