The Cachapoal Valley Wine Trail

Located 14km from Rancagua this wine trail was created by a group of local hoteliers and businesspeople in the wine industry aiming to commercialise the valley's Certificate of Origin. The valley produces some very fine wines. The Cachapoal Valley is different from other valleys in that it is traditionally a farming area and as such its fertile soils make it perfect for grape growing.

For tourists there are a variety of tours to prestigious wineries and wine cellars available. These guided tours also include wine tasting.

As well as wine tours you can go horse riding in the mountains, go mountain biking around the wineries, have a barbeque in the countryside or go to a rodeo.
