How to get to Antofagasta?

Antofagasta is 1,361 km north of Santiago, 205 km from Calama and 564 km from Copiapó. You can get there:

By Air:
There are regular flights from Santiago national airport. You should inquire about departure times.

By Car:
To get to Antofagasta from any point in the south you must take Ruta 5 north (the Pan-American Highway). It is 564 km from Copiapó and 898 km from La Serena.

If you are coming from the north, you must take Ruta 5 towards the south. It is 205 km from Calama and 493 from Iquique.

By bus:
There are daily services from all the nearest cities, as well as from Santiago. You can inquire at the bus terminal of any city.
