Caldera is located 75 km northeast of Copiapó, 882 km from Santiago and 1,192 km south of Arica. You can get there:

By Plane:
Take one of the frequent flights from Santiago to Caldera, and from there take some form of transportation over land for the remaining 20 km.

By Car:
Whether you are coming from the north or south of Chile, you need to take either Ruta 5 or the Panamericana to Copiapó. From there, take the road leading to the coast that brings you to Bahía Inglesa and Caldera.

By Bus:
There are frequent departures daily that leave from Copiapó and surrounding cities. Check local bus terminals for timetable details.
