Important bathing areas in this sector include the Rocas de Santo Domingo, El Tabo, El Quisco and Algarrobo which during the summer fill with large quantities of tourists. Also in this sector is the the San Antonio Port, which is of great national and international importance, which together with Valparaíso, constitutes a focus of commercial activity.
