Where to go in Chaitén?

El Amarillo Hot Spring
Located 30 km from Chaitén, there are three thermal baths here, but no equipment.

Lago Yelcho
This is a beautiful, huge lake with emerald-colored waters of glacial origin, located 46 km south of Chaitén. It is surrounded by tall hills with sheltered snowfields on its forested slopes.

Costanera
From here you can have a beautiful sight of Corcovado Volcano (2,300 mt). It is located in Chaitén Bay.
