Chonchi![]() The city is characterized by the sale of products typical of the region, amongst them gold liqueur, "enguindado" (alcohol drink) and sweet breads known as rosas chonchinas (Chonchi roses). The Creole Festival of Chonchi takes place in February. The houses of Chonchi are made from cypress wood and painted in bright colors, making it a beautiful spot.
