How to get to Chonchi?

Chonchi is located 187 km from Puerto Montt and 99 km from Ancud. You can get there:

By Plane:
You can fly to Puerto Montt or Ancud, then finish the journey in car or bus.

By Car:
From continental Chile you need to get to Pargua, on the Panamericana Sur, and then take the ferry that crosses the Chacao channel, a crossing of 25 minutes. There, on arrival at the Island of Chiloé, take Ruta 5 Sur westbound, until you get to Chonchi.

By Bus:
Check timetables at the Bus Terminal in Ancud or Castro.
