By Plane
There are regular flights from Santiago’s National airport and from Puerto Montt to Coihaique. You can hire a private plane to take you from the airdrome in Cochrane or do the rest of the journey by car.
By Car
From Puerto Montt head south along the Carretera Austral, 1,100 km in length, until Cochrane. This journey allows you to take in beautiful places all through the austral zone.
By Bus
There are frequent buses daily between Coihaique and Cochrane.
