Coñaripe

This is a busy service center for the Mapuche communities that live in the surrounding areas. Its name means ‘the Way of the Warrior’ in the Mapuche language. It is located 32 km from Panguipulli, with a population of 1,253, and it’s a lively resort during the summer.

It has thriving commerce, lovely holiday houses, a tourist office in the plaza, restaurants and campsites.

From Coñaripe you can visit Pullinque Lake, small and full of small islands, and Panguipulli Lake.
