The famous Frutillar Musical Weeks have been held every summer since 1968, in this beautiful lakeside resort on the shores of the vast Lago Llanquihue, 983 km south of Santiago.

For ten days, between January 27th and February 5th, a program of concerts of classical music is played by soloists, music groups, chamber orchestras, symphonic ensembles, choral groups and symphonic orchestras.

There are morning, lunchtime, afternoon and evening concerts in Frutillar, as well as concerts associated with the Musical Week in other towns in the Los Lagos Region.

During the 35 years that the festival has existed, national and international artists have shown interest in participating. Hence we have seen talented young artists from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Argentina, USA, Uruguay, Norway, Korea, Peru and Rumania.
