Playa Pea
A small beach located on the south shore of Hanga Roa creek.

Mercado Artesanal
The handicrafts market is located in Hanga Roa, beside the Iglesia Santa Cruz, in Avenida Tuu Koihu. Here you can find typical handicrafts of the Rapa Nui culture. Items for sale include food, wood carvings, and objects which used to be used in religious rituals.
It is open from 09:00 to 13:00 hrs and from 16:00 to 20:00 hrs.

Tahai Archaeological Complex
Located close to Hanga Roa, the complex consists of three ahu making up a group of ceremonial altars where the ancestors were worshipped. This shows Rapa Nui culture at its high point. It is one of the best-restored sites on the island.

Orca Diving and Mike Rapu Center

There are two diving centers: Orca and Mike Rapu. Both are located in Caleta Hanga Roa Otai.

The island is famous for the clarity of the waters, which allows you to enjoy the marvelous formation of the sea floor, with its underwater caves, arches, cliffs and bridges. The depth is down to 50 meters and the temperature is around 22ºC

Because of the location of Isla de Pascua, there is a great number of endemic fish species; you can also see corals, although because of the temperature of the water they do not form reefs.
