Panimávida Hot Springs

These hot springs are located 69km to the southeast of Talca and 20km to the west of Linares. They are found in a small town which has a main square surrounded by large trees. The town also has a church and some handicraft stalls. On one side of the square the Hotel de los Baños Termales is found. Up until 1980, when it had to be reconstructed after a fire devastated it, it was one of the country’s most prestigious hotels. The hotel’s original park, statues and fountains remain.

The hot springs have numerous therapeutic qualities including helping with arthritis, gout, kidney stones and rheumatism amongst others.

The average temperature of the waters is 32º C and the craniosacral therapy includes thermal baths, underwater massages, and steam baths and mud treatments. There are outdoor hot springs, individual thermal baths, and treatments where you drink the waters for therapeutic purposes.
