Catedral de Melipilla
This building was inaugurated on April 30, 1992, on the site of the previous cathedral, which was built at end of the 17th Century and destroyed by an earthquake in 1985. It has a tower 32 meters high.

It stands on the Plaza de Armas of Melipilla, on Calle Ortúzar.

Chichera El Bajo
This chicha factory is located in the El Bajo zone at the southern exit from Melipilla on the route to Rapel. Here you can taste delicious chicha with all the purity of Chilean country traditions. The drink, made of fermented grapes, is prepared in the traditional way to ensure greater purity. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic chicha is available and you can also watch the preparation of this traditional product, using rustic elements which evoke bygone days.

Feria de Animales
The stock market is located on the old road to Santiago. It is a very interesting fair where the local stockbreeders gather on Fridays to buy and sell animals.
