Sotoca

This is a small town that belonged to the area of Camiña which is near Iquique. It has interesting crops which are cultivated on terraces. The church, built during the 17th century was declared a National Monument. 

When visiting Sotoca you can enjoy the following attractions which are nearby:



Usmagama Church


It was declared a National Monument and is located in Usmagama town near Sotoca. It has a 17th century classical baroque style. Its main feature is the worn decoration of immense artistic value. 



Mocha Chapel


It is a National Monument situated in Mocha town, west of Iquique, near Huara. It was built during the 17th century and it is baroque in style. The doorway and door frame are made of sculpted stone. It used to be administered by San Nicolás de Tolentino church.
