Located 12 km from Pucón along the road to the Villarrica volcano, This is an organized tour where you can descend several meters towards the center of the earth. From Pucón you take the road towards Villarrica, and after around 1.5km along, take the turn-off on the left-hand side in the direction of the Villarrica volcano ski center. Stay on this road for 9km until you get to the entrance to the National Park, where the road separates, and take the road leading to the Volcanic Caves.

The tour through the caves takes around 45 to 50 minutes in total. The ground is uneven and there are various access stairs, some which would be difficult for older people and children, for whom extra care should be taken.

Safety helmets must be worn by visitors to avoid bumping heads on some of the sharp stalactite points found along the way.

An entrance fee is charged.
