Where to go in Puerto Aisén?

Puente Presidente Ibáñez
This is the largest suspension bridge in Chile, 210 meters long. It divides the town of Puerto Aisén, but at the same time it is of great importance as it links Coihaique to Puerto Chacabuco.

Parque Cerro Mirador
Situated on one side of the Plaza de Armas, it offers view of the city and its surroundings.

Galería Artesenal
Located on the southern side of the Presidente Ibáñez bridge, you can sample the arts and crafts of the area in this gallery. Wool, wood and leather are the main materials on display here.

Vivero Forestal El Mallín
This tree nursery is one kilometer away from Puerto Aisén and many native species and imported conifers are bred here. Among the species that you can buy are araucarias, Guaitecas cypress and native ferns.
