Puerto Montt is 1,021 km from Santiago. You can reach the city:

By Plane:
There are daily flights from Santiago to Puerto Montt; the flight takes about two hours. The airport for Puerto Montt, “El Tepual”, is only 16 km away from the city.

By Car:
Whether you are travelling north or south, you must take the Pan-American Highway or Ruta 5 Sur, which is paved all the way. The city is 109 km from Osorno.

By Bus:
There are daily departures from Santiago and from the neighboring cities to Puerto Montt.
