Punta Arenas is 3,090 km from Santiago and 2,286 km from Puerto Montt. You can get there:
By Air:
There are daily departures from Santiago airport, with a flight time of three and a half hours. There are also flights from Puerto Montt, but you will have to inquire for times and availability.
By Car:
To drive from Santiago you head south on Ruta 5 Sur as far as Osorno, where you should cross over into Argentina by the Paso Fronterizo Cardenal Samoré. Continue down to Patagonia, where you cross back into Chile near Puerto Natales.
By Sea:
There are frequent sailings from Puerto Montt, inquire for details.
By Air:
