Quintero

Quintero is a seaside resort on the bay carrying the same name, 155 km north west of Santiago. It has a population of 18,000 inhabitants and its most attractive features are its sixteen beaches, suitable for sailing, swimming, fishing and water-skiing.

You can fish off the beach at Loncura, and if you enjoy surfing you should not miss Playa Ritoque. On Playa Albatros you can hire horses. Watch the sunset from Playa El Papagayo and then walk along the esplanade to Playa El Durazno.
