La Parva is considered to be one of the most exclusive ski resorts in Chile, with private condominiums and more than a thousand top quality lodgings, ideal for winter sports fanatics. It is located 2,750 meters above sea level, 38 kilometres from Santiago up the valley of the Mapocho River. From the resort you can look back down the valley to the city of Santiago, and at night see the lights and pick out the streets.

This ski resort concentrates the greatest number of private huts and apartments in the area, available to let during the skiing season. There are ski and snow-board schools, equipment hire, transport services 24 hours a day, restaurants, shops etc.

The ski season starts on 20 June and runs through to the first half of October.
