Valle Nevado is located only 60 kilometres from Santiago International Airport by the Costanera Norte motorway. The lifts go up to a height of 3,670 meters above sea level, in one of the most spectacular settings in the Andes and with excellent quality snow, delighting both Chilean and international skiers.

It was opened in 1988 and offers hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, a heated swimming pool, gymnasium, crèche for small children and other services. It has a series of technological innovations which make it particularly attractive for winter sports lovers.

The 2009 season, when the centre celebrates its 21st birthday, is already open.
