National Reserve Ralco

It comprises 12 492 hectares encompassing the peak of Callaqui Volcano.  There are three walking trails in the reserve.

The River Quillaicahue - El Pachá Trail is an 8 hour walk through wooded areas and enormous expanses of monkey puzzle tree forests where man has not yet interfered.


The River Quillaicahue – River Ralco Trail is a 6 hour walk and goes along the edge of the previous trail. You can observe native flora and fauna.


The Quillaicahue - Salto de Loncotahue Trail follows the River Ralco as far as the Salto de Loncotahue passing through wooded areas and it takes 6 hours.
