Huife Hot Springs

These hot springs are 133 km from Temuco and 33 km north east of Pucón. To get to the center it is about 15 km on paved road and 18 km on gravel.

The springs are near the banks of the Liucura river, surrounded by luxuriant native vegetation. The waters are recommended for the treatment of stress, nervous fatigue, arthritis, rheumatism and skin conditions. The temperature of the waters is up to 38º C.

There are three open-air pools with thermal waters, safe custody for clothing, exclusive suites and welcoming apartments with a jacuzzi in the room. One part of the installations contains individual thermal baths, hydro-massage tubs, a sauna and a massage room. There is a restaurant offering food of an international standard and selection, a coffee-shop and a conference hall for up to 50 people.

In terms of amusements, there are games rooms, a gymnasium, a coffee-shop and restaurant, all set in 300 hectares of native forest.

It is open all year round, although snow sometimes falls there in winter.

There is a taxi service from Pucón to the hot springs. A comfortable, modern, air-conditioned vehicle leaves Pucón at 11:00 hrs daily from the Oficina de Informaciones Turística Municipal y Cámara de Turismo located at the corner of Calle Brasil and Caupolicán.
