The Ski Center is in the Las Raíces range, 8 km from Lonquimay. It is the newest ski center in the Region and was opened in the year 2000. There are four drag-lifts, cross country skiing tracks and scope for ski-touring. There is also a coffee shop, restaurant, ski hire shop, guides for excursions in the area and snowmobile hire.

The nearest lodging is in the town of Lonquimay.

Access from Temuco is via Lautaro or Victoria to Curacautín, Malalcahuello and Lonquimay. You can drive up or take a taxi.

The ski season is between the months of July and October.
