Balneario Covadonga – Covadonga Resort
This beach is located at the southern approach to Tocopilla. There is a restaurant and a social club, that was once a hotel, built by the State.
Thermoelectric Power Stations
In the past they were powered by coal from the south of Chile. Nowadays there is a thermoelectric current of 380 megawatts that runs on gas and that was installed in 1999.
Clock Tower
The clock tower was built in 1800 and originally located in the plaza of the office of the Coya Sur saltpeter. It was moved when it was donated to the town of Tocopilla. It is now located next to the parish church and is made out of polychrome wood.
