Castillo Brunet
Located at no. 104 Iberia this castle is the work of the architect Alfredo Azancot. The architecture is medieval in style, reminiscent of the French Gothic Romantic period. Since 1974 it has been used by the Chilean Police and has been known as the Palacio de Carabineros de Viña del Mar. It is used as the official residence for important visitors and for important social functions.

The Project Architect was Jorge Schroeder Espinoza, a sailor born in Talcahuano in 1895, who spent his professional life working in the region. The year after his death in 1939, his family decided to sell the rough work to Nicolás Yarur who entrusted the termination of the project to Jorge Schroeders' architect.

Visits must be arranged with the Building Manager.

It was designated as a historical and architectonic structure by Viña del Mar City Council on the 9th of May 2000.

Castillo Wulff
Located on Avenida Marina, the castle dates from approximately 1880. During this period Teodoro Von Schroeders owned the Cerro Castillo area and he later turned it into a recreation zone.

In 1919 the owner decided to build a tower next to the sea. The new tower and the rest of the building are joined together by a glass bridge and from the tower you can watch the waves crash against the rocks on the seashore.

In 1959 the castle was taken over by Viña del Mar City Council and on the 17th of September 1960 a museum was opened there.
