Chile’s popular festivals or traditions are held on specific dates which make the participants feel more comfortable or which make the most of optimum weather conditions.
At the end of March and beginning of April the famous Wine Tasting Festival is held, celebrating the harvesting of the grapes where wine loving, tourists can  participate in any of the vineyards located mostly in the central and southern zones of Chile, in the different activities and trips available.

Rodeos and other traditional games are all held in September during the period of the national holidays. Throughout the country different groups of horsebreeders, cueca and folk dancers and others organise special events.

December is generally quiet except for the misas del gallo ( special masses) held around midnight on Christmas Eve.
