Situated 30 km north of San Pedro de Atacama, this is a fantastic place, very cold with no possibility of locating firewood.

There are a number of pools which are perfect for bathing, the only problem is that at 33°C they are not as hot as one might hope. The water rises from underground streams and rivers, flowing through a gorge canyon towards the lower heights of San Pedro, where it creates a micro-climate.

There are changing rooms, saunas and bathrooms, all connected to the swimming pools by wooden walkways.
